All values were adjusted for age, age at diagnosis, sex and pancreatic enzyme status:

Patient ages for paediatric clinics are under 18 years and 18 years and older for adult clinics
For statistical purposes, calculations were performed on clinics that provided complete measurements on at least 10 patients
FEV_¹ percent predicted calculations include individuals age six years and older
BMI percentiles are calculated for individuals under 18 years

Although we have adjusted for specific factors to facilitate appropriate comparisons, disparities between clinics need to be interpreted with caution as there are many factors that contribute to variations in outcomes seen across the country.

Theatre Burlington's "Santa the Panto"

Join Theatre Burlington for their upcoming children's play "Santa the Panto". Beatrix the Bad hates Christmas and will do whatever it takes to stop it, including kidnapping Santa. It’s up to Mrs. Claus, Barbie, Ken and the Elf on the Shelf to rescue Santa and save Christmas. There’s lots of music and dancing with audience participation encouraged.

A portion of the ticket sales will be directed to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

Gillian Maramieri

Caledon, Ontario

Gillian Maramieri has been involved with Cystic Fibrosis Canada for 10 years and is a working mother of two boys. Her youngest, Matthew, has cystic fibrosis and was the first to be diagnosed with CF in the family. He was diagnosed at birth after Gillian’s doctors noticed an echogenic bowel 18 weeks into her pregnancy. Her first words after the diagnosis were, "Ok, now what do we need to do?"
