2024: Celebrating the incredible achievements made possible by you

Happy New Year! 

This year, we launched a bold new strategic plan focusing on the greatest areas of need for Canadians living with cystic fibrosis. In 2024, your dedication and support were the fuel leading this work and, because of you, incredible progress was made:   

  • You helped raise over $3 million for the cystic fibrosis community through events like the Walk To Make Cystic Fibrosis History, the Trek to Costa Rica, and your own fundraisers as Change Makers!  
  • You rallied together to drive change by signing petitions and writing letters, securing broader access to Trikafta for children aged 2 and older, including for those with certain rare mutations.  
  • You helped invest over $2 million in research, advancing solutions for those most heavily affected by cystic fibrosis, including individuals who can’t benefit from current treatments, while supporting forward-thinking collaborations with Genome Quebec and others, for faster discoveries and greater impact. 
  • Your collective efforts guided our future work through advisory councils and fostered connections at our townhalls. As champions of the cause, you helped relaunch our community awards, highlighting your impact.  
  • Together, we celebrated incredible milestones t, including 50 years of the Canadian CF Registry— while the median age of survival for Canadians with CF continues to rise, stay tuned for the latest data demonstrating the impact made possible by your support.  

As we celebrate our 65th year as an organization in 2025, every step forward has been because of you—your generosity, your advocacy and your commitment. Together, we are creating a brighter future, making it possible for Canadians with cystic fibrosis to live fully, beyond the limits of the disease. Here’s to even more impact in 2025!
