Peer Connect: Supporting young children with CF

Audience: For parents/guardians of someone living with CF
Looking to connect with others who understand life impacted by cystic fibrosis? Peer Connect offers small, virtual group sessions where you can share experiences, ask questions, and feel supported by others in the CF community.
This session will focus on supporting young children with CF and is open to parents or guardians of someone living with the disease.
What to expect:
- Small group session held virtually (maximum 8 participants)
- Led by trained volunteer with lived experience
- Confidential, supportive and welcoming space
Meet the Co-Facilitators:
Jody is the mom of two, middle school teacher and lives in beautiful British Columbia. Her daughter was diagnosed with CF at two weeks old, and is now 11 years old.
Liz is a mom of two and elementary school teacher who lives in Quebec. Her first born daughter was diagnosed with CF while Liz was pregnant and she is now thriving at 8 years old. Jody and Liz are excited to connect to share their experiences and support other caregivers of young children with CF.
Spots are limited! Each session is capped at 8 participants. If the session you want is full, you’ll be added to a waitlist and contacted if a spot for the session opens up.
