Cystic Fibrosis Canada Community Awards

Here at Cystic Fibrosis Canada, we're proud to recognize individuals and organizations whose dedication, leadership and generosity have had a significant impact on the lives of those affected by cystic fibrosis (CF). Through our annual awards program, we celebrate the exceptional contributions of community members who help advance our vision to help our community live fully, beyond the limits of cystic fibrosis. Congratulations to our 2024 recipients!

King Charles III Coronation Medal

Exclusive to 2024, the King Charles III Coronation Medal is a national honour recognizing individuals who have made a significant contribution to Canada or their province, region or community.

Selected organizations across a variety of sectors, including non-profit and community groups, were invited to nominate and award individuals who embody the eligibility criteria. Cystic Fibrosis Canada was privileged to take part in this initiative, inviting nominations for role models that inspire others and demonstrate integrity and honesty in their contributions.

48 extraordinary recipients were selected, including the co-founders of Cystic Fibrosis Canada and an NHL player and coach. These medals will be presented at gatherings across the country in 2025.

CF Canada Community Awards

Community Awards are presented annually to individuals, groups and families who have made exceptional contributions to our mission through time, energy and financial support. These awards celebrate those who generously donate their efforts to improving the lives of Canadians affected by cystic fibrosis.

Each year, community members are invited to submit nominations, which are carefully reviewed by an evaluation committee.

In 2024, 21 individuals and groups were selected as recipients of a Cystic Fibrosis Canada Community Award for their exceptional contributions. We are proud to present the Cystic Fibrosis Canada Community Awards to recipients at gatherings across the country in 2025.
