Peer Connect: March Connecting dads and father figures

Audience: For dads/father figures of someone living with CF

Looking to connect with others who understand life impacted by cystic fibrosis? Peer Connect offers small, virtual group sessions where you can share experiences, ask questions, and feel supported by others in the CF community. 

This session will focus on connecting dads and father figures and is open to parents or guardians of someone living with the disease. 

What to expect: 

  • Small group session held virtually (maximum 8 participants) 
  • Led by trained volunteer with lived experience 
  • Confidential, supportive and welcoming space 

Meet the Co-Facilitators:

Austin and Mitch are parents of children living with CF. Mitch's son is now 32, living in his own home and enjoying an exciting career. Austin Spencer is a dedicated single father living in Kelowna, British Columbia. He is raising two children, the youngest of whom lives with cystic fibrosis. Alongside parenting, Austin is a company owner, committed to providing a supportive, grounded environment for his kids while actively navigating the challenges that come with chronic illness in the family.
