Peer Connect Session: Traveling with CF

Audience: Parents or guardians of people with CF
Looking to connect with other parents and guardians navigating life with cystic fibrosis? Peer Connect offers small, virtual group sessions where you can share experiences, ask questions, and feel supported by others in the CF community.
This session will focus on traveling with CF and is open to oarents or guardians of people with with CF.
What to expect:
- Small group session held virtually (maximum 8 participants)
- Led by trained volunteers with lived experience
- Confidential, supportive, and welcoming space
Meet the Co-Facilitators:
Tammy is the Mom of two daughters ages 24 and 22, diagnosed at three months & at birth with CF. Tammy’s daughters are now young adults, who have completed university and independently living their best lives while working full time jobs and managing their CF. Tammy lives in Ontario and started out as a kindergarten teacher, however took time off to raise her girls. Now that they’re independent, she’s working for the federal government. Tammy is happy to support other caregivers and share what she’s learned while raising two children with CF.
