Support those still waiting for a life-changing treatment

Can you imagine being one of the many people living with cystic fibrosis (CF) who, despite all the recent breakthroughs, still don’t have access to a treatment that works for them? It’s a heartbreaking thought, but at Cystic Fibrosis Canada, we’re working to change that, and with your support, we can bring everyone closer to a life W/O CF.

Our research is focused on an exciting new frontier—gene therapy. For the many people with CF who can’t benefit from drugs like Trikafta, gene therapies hold incredible promise. They work by targeting the CFTR gene itself, and by investing in this research, we are moving closer to developing a treatment that can work for everyone with CF.

On the verge of the next breakthrough treatment

Clinical trials are underway for these exciting new treatments, but continued funding is critical.  These trials are extensive, expensive, and incredibly important. They will help us prove the safety and effectiveness of these new treatments so that they can be delivered to the people who need them most.

A donation before October 14 will directly support these clinical trials, bringing us closer to the day when no one with CF is left behind.

Our goal is to raise $40,000 by October 14 to continue funding this vital research. Each donation brings us a step closer to the next breakthrough. The last few years have shown us that great things are possible when our CF community comes together, and we know we can achieve even more.
