Cystic Fibrosis Canada is proud to celebrate the incredible generosity of Home Hardware Stores Limited, whose 2025 Supplier Partnership Charity Golf Tournament raised an outstanding $181,855 in support of Canadians living with cystic fibrosis.

Held across the Kitchener-Waterloo area, the annual tournament brought together Home Hardware team members, Dealers, and suppliers for a day of friendly competition, connection, and shared purpose. Proceeds from the event will directly support Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s work across research, advocacy, care, and support, helping improve health outcomes and quality of life for people affected by cystic fibrosis.

“We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our suppliers, Dealers and team members whose contributions made this year’s charity golf tournament such a success,” said Ian White, President and CEO of Home Hardware Stores Limited. “Together, we have helped advance the mission of Cystic Fibrosis Canada, an organization that supports life-changing work for so many individuals and families across the country.”

Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, life-threatening genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system, requiring lifelong care and continuous research to improve treatment options and outcomes. Funds raised through the tournament will help strengthen national research initiatives and enhance care programs for the more than 4,500 Canadians living with the disease.

“Support from partners like Home Hardware makes a meaningful difference for people living with cystic fibrosis and their families,” said Paul Eckford, Chief Scientific Officer at Cystic Fibrosis Canada. “Funds raised through this tournament will help advance critical research, strengthen care programs, and bring us closer to a future where all Canadians with cystic fibrosis can live longer, healthier lives.”

Now a much-anticipated annual event, the Supplier Partnership Charity Golf Tournament reflects the strong spirit of collaboration, community, and philanthropy shared across Home Hardware’s Dealer and supplier network – and proudly names Cystic Fibrosis Canada as charity of choice for 2025 and 2026.

Cystic Fibrosis Canada extends its sincere thanks to Home Hardware Stores Limited and everyone who participated, supported, and contributed to the success of this event. We would like to extend a special thank you to Mike Farwell who helped secure this partnership, Karen McCulloch and Karen Fries who helped organize this year’s event, as well as all of the dedicated volunteers who supported us on event day. Partnerships like this help drive progress — and bring us closer to a future where people with cystic fibrosis can live life without limits.
