(Toronto, ON, May 6, 2026) – Just in time for Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, Cystic Fibrosis Canada is proud to announce Season 2 of Breathless, a podcast in partnership with Snack Labs Inc. sharing the real and evolving experiences of people living with cystic fibrosis (CF).

Running May 6 through June 10, the six-episode season builds on the powerful conversations in Season 1, returning to voices from the CF community to share how breakthroughs in treatment are transforming what life with CF can look like.

But progress brings new realities.

Season 2 of Breathless explores what it means to age with CF, navigate mental health, and plan for futures that previous generations never expected to have. It reflects on the emotional shift facing a population that once grew up believing adulthood was unlikely and now must rethink what comes next, including questions about children, retirement, and long-term wellbeing.

At the same time, not everyone is benefiting equally from today’s breakthroughs. Many people with CF, particularly those with rare mutations, are still waiting for treatments that work for them. Their experiences, uncertainty, and hope remain a vital part of the story.

Hosted by Halifax-based Jeremie Saunders, co-host of the Sickboy podcast who also lives with cystic fibrosis, Breathless creates space for honest, compassionate conversations about progress, possibility, and the work still to be done.

Featuring voices from the community including Jeremy Vosburgh, Teresa Weger, Lisa Bentley, Ross Drake, Brittany Holliwink, Sophie Grace Holmes, and child psychologist Jody Carrington. Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s Kelly Grover and Dr. Paul Eckford return for season 2.

Breathless continues to be produced in English, with French-language summaries shared weekly on Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s blog.

Season 2 of Breathless launches May 6. The podcast is available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
