(Toronto, ON, May 8, 2026) – Cystic Fibrosis Canada is proud to recognize 17 individuals, families, and groups from across the country whose dedication and generosity have made a meaningful difference in the lives of Canadians affected by cystic fibrosis.
The Cystic Fibrosis Canada Community Awards celebrate outstanding community members whose leadership, commitment, and support have helped advance progress in CF research, care, advocacy, and community support.
“Our community are the heart of everything we do,” says Erin Spink, Acting Director, Community Engagement, Cystic Fibrosis Canada. “These award recipients show what’s possible when people come together with compassion, determination, and a shared commitment to improving life for those impacted by cystic fibrosis. We are incredibly grateful for the ways they inspire and support our CF community.”
Presented annually, the awards honour those who generously contribute their time, energy, and financial support in support of CF Canada’s vision of longer, healthier, and fuller lives for Canadians living with cystic fibrosis. Each year, nominations are submitted by community members from across the country and carefully reviewed by the Awards Review Panel, consisting of community members from across the country . This year, [17] recipients have been selected in recognition of their exceptional contributions.
